I love OS X.

And I love my iBook.

But what I'd really love, while I'm at home, and have wished for for the last 8 months or so is a chance to dual-boot OS X with Windows on my PC.

Now, I don't have a problem with dual-booting. I haven't even gotten to that stage. I have, however, tried numerous images, numerous fixes, and never once booted to OS X outside a Virtual Machine.

So, about 5 months ago, I gave up the pursuit. Now, I'm ready to try again. And I'm going to need your help! After numerous searches, I've failed to come up with any new information. Since all the old information was only helpful in getting OS X installed (all through VMWare) and not actually running (when I boot from the hard drive I have OS X installed to), maybe some recompilation of information by other people might help.

Willing? If so, here's my setup, as complete as I can get it:

AuthenticAMD

AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3000+

Motherboard ID 05/22/2006-MS-7125-6A61FM49C-00

K8N Neo4 Platinum

NVIDIA nForce4

etc.

~1G of RAM (2 512s)

BIOS Type Phoenix - AwardBIOS v6.00PG

BIOS Message - W7125NMS V1.D 052206 11:35:51

System BIOS Date - 05/22/06

Video BIOS Date - 09/22/04

NVIDIA GeForce 6800 PCI-Express

BIOS String Version 5.41.02.17.13

Memory Size 256 MB

Monitor - Gateway VX1110

Hard Drive - WDC WD3200JD-60KLB0

Hard Drive - WDC WD400BB-00JSA0

HP DVD Writer 740b

Standard 101/102-Key or Microsoft Natural PS/2 Keyboard

Logitech PS/2 Compatible Mouse

Network Adapter - NETGEAR MA111 802.11b Wireless USB Adapter (this is what I use primarily)

Network Adapter - NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller

If you want any more information, reply with those questions.

Now, pleading ended. I'm looking for any and all installation instructions I can get, from what image to use to where to bang on the side of the computer.
