Whiterat
I have DD'd the deadmoo image to my laptop's hard disk. If I boot with the original mach_kernel then It does with that remote debugger trash and dies. If I try with mach_kernel.nonx then it briefly shows the grey screen and reboots. If I try with mach_kernel.sse2 then it will boot up to grey screen and do nothing, or with -v it shows no error then just goes to blank screen. I have disabled everything in bios that is likely to cause problems (usb, audio, etc) The target machine is: Dell Latitude C600 Intel Pentium 3m 256mb Ram 20gb Drive ATI Mobility GFX I have tried with all the switches I have seen (-x, -s, -F, etc etc) I have also removed all ATI kext's I would like to get this working as its taken the last 30 hours to pull deadmoo from emule because I found no torrents with seeders. I have a USB Laptop Hard Disk Caddy so I can xfer files easily. Any ideas would be much appreiciated! thanks, -Gareth Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/6458-stuck-on-grey-screen/ Share on other sites
