vandall Posted September 26, 2007 Share Posted September 26, 2007 strage problem here where when booting up logic 8 for first time, it scans AU's and OSX comes upwith the darkened restart your computer screen. A friend of mine with a G5 was getting also... he turned off one of his powercore firewires and it was fine. I removed all connected stuff but the USB drive enclosure I am curently running/testing OSX86 on and it got alot further but still did it. It actually did this for the first time when connecting wireless dongle before Logic 8 was installed I'm guessing its a power issue...?? Im on an Asus P5B-E motherboard... vandall Posted September 28, 2007 Author Share Posted September 28, 2007 ok.. I've managed to abort the scan's on laoding Logic and validatied each manually... Powercore Charecter is one that's causing a problem... is a must have for kick durms for me so really want to get this sorted... anyone else had the same probs and managed to sort it out?
