OxDraztikxO
I have a dell d610, I installed osx from the uphuck 1.4i r3 dvd, installation went flawlessly and I had osx running for a while. I decided to format the drive and install windows xp. Now I want to go back to osx and I keep getting the .com.apple.Boot.plist not found error. Tell me if you got it up and running and I could help you get your wireless working fine and help with the gma 900 video issue. mattchuw
So I had uphuck 1.4i working perfectly for about twelve hours (even got final cut, logic, garage band installed) . I was starting up, and was in a slight rush so as soon as the dell loading screen was about to change to the bootloader, I hit return to start up. Then after that, there was just a blinking text bar up on the left side of the screen. I don't know if hitting return had anything to do with it... anyway, I restarted countless times. Finally i had to just reinstall xp and wipe my hard drives. I wonder if it would have helped to reinstall osx. But for you, i think it works more seemlessly if you install osx after you already have xp installed. But it still doesn't explain the com.apple.Boot.plist not found error. But xp still works right? Try reinstalling osx. Anyway i'm planning on reinstalling soon, so that information about getting the wireless to work would save me time and money buying a usb wireless receiver.also, have you figured out a legitamate way to get the display working? I've either had a moniter plugged in, or pressed fn + f7 (or f8) I know f8 does it in most os's but for some reason i think fn f7 is whats doing it. But that method is kind of annoying because you have to hit it exactly at the right moment, right after it goes to the light blue screen. Have you tried the 2-wire method? Or have you found a way for it to start up automatically without having to do that?
