Ongeloof Posted September 25, 2007 Share Posted September 25, 2007 i have tried and tried for months to get myself a hackbook, but it doesnt look like it will happen. i have got :Mac OS X 10.4.9 Intel SSE3 [JaS 10.4.8 AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1 & PPF2.iso] and a combo update thing but that separate... i know it could work, and i have VMWare set up right, and bios and stuff. but when i tap enter to boot up, it shows me the all that script stuff, but it freezes with error 8, or something like that. what can i do to make this work. i have virtual diskclone + daemon tools, and its been mounted....i think.... idont know what it could be, i have enough HDD space. mark Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/64429-urgent-help-with-vmware-needed/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
~pcwiz Posted September 29, 2007 Share Posted September 29, 2007 I need the EXACT error message. "error 8" won't cut it. I would also advise you to try burning the ISO to a DVD and installing. Also try installing with VMware Workstation 6 if you aren't already.
