I have posted a related thread in german forum, but the answers did not solve the problem... The installer ONLY worked FOR ONCE, then never again and the system was not changed! Therefore my hardware must be compatible?! What happened after the install, that the system never could again boot an OS X Installer DVD? Is there any Darwin/X86 command overview or a chance, to install the DVD with a downloadable Darwin or Linux version or copy the DVD to an USB-Stick with an adding installer on it? I read, that OS X is based on open source (Darwin)?! That´s, what I have already tried: Uphuck 10.4.9 V.1.3 JaS 10.4.8 incl. PPF1&2 HOTiSO 10.4.10 (there is NOTHING on the DVD?!) Burned the DVD´s slowly in Clone CD / Nero with proof S-ATA- / P-ATA- (old parallel version) / USB-DVD-Writer Verbatim DVD-R / Verbatim DVD+RW / Verbatim DVD+R DL BIOS BIOS Update tried many combinations IDE / AHCI ICH9 & Gigabyte S-ATA (yellow/purple on mainboard) only or together [*]with or without connected S-ATA harddrive [*]tried it with Daemon tools (virtual Drive for the ISO file´s) in VMWare The Installer worked one time with following setup: P-ATA writer Pioneer 111 Huckup 10.4.9 V.1.3 on Verbatim DVD+RW 250GB Seagate S-ATA Harddrive in BIOS both ports with IDE Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/64366-solved-cannot-boot-the-osx-installer-dvd-could-only-install-for-once/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

When it says you want to install MacOS X 10...9...8...7...6...5 You just have to press enter before it finishes. Thank you, but I already did it so... I´ve also typed the commands, like -v -x and so on, but there is only little reaction.
