mactheripper
Hello folks, I have been trying to get my IEEE 1394 PCI Card to work with the Jas 10.4.8 version for the last one week. I have a T42p (2373 KXU) I tried the SIIG Dual Port card and also the ADS Tech Pyro 1394 DV card on the machine but the OS wont recognize either. Someone on the forums suggested that I copy the 'IOPCIFamily.kext' files from version 10.4.4 and restart the machine. I did that and still nothing happens. Any ideas folks ? Any help is greatly appreciated... Thanks, Sonu Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/64292-which-firewire-pci-card-to-use-with-jas-1048/ Share on other sites
hut
I have a PCI board based on the following chip: 00:0b.0 FireWire (IEEE 1394): Texas Instruments TSB82AA2 IEEE-1394b Link Layer Controller (rev 01) Works with OS/X fine. FW800 supported and working very fast. For actual product, see http://www.ioi.com.tw/products/newprod.aspx for instance. Cheers.
