I have Uphuck 10.4.9 1.3 working on my computer and I just ordered a new Core2 Duo CPU to replace the P4 630 3.0ghz CPU. Is there anything i will have to do other than just swapping out the cpu? If I remember there were some issues getting both cores to work. I will probably also upgrade my ram pretty soon from 1gb to 2gb so this combination should make this machine pretty fast.

If all is working in your system now, and your mobo accepts the c2d chip, I don't see why there would be any problem. If you have an intel chipset on your mobo, both cores should work just fine. It's mostly laptops that have problems with C2Ds and possibly some non-intel chipsets. I have two systems with C2Q processors and all 4 cores are accessible in each system.
