BJMoose
Hi, welcome to the forum. I might suggest you do a little bit of reading in some of the How To threads on the opening page before buying new equipment for this project. In building a hackintosh, you probably want to steer clear of AMD processors and NVidia chipsets. They are not the most compatible and will present even the seasoned mac-hacker with some difficulty. If you already have that equipment, then I guess you have to work with what you've got. Always best to build your own system whenever possible because then you're in control of what's 'inside'. Motherboard and video card are of the utmost importance. There are a couple of OSX86 installers that are designed for AMD, but that doesn't mean they'll work with all AMDs. Really study that wiki compatibility site before making your decision and check out the specs of systems others have listed in their specs. Good luck.
