Middleman
Hi, You need to format the initial part of your drives as FAT32 under 30GB size ie. 30720MB as OSX doesn't recognise NTFS. Windows will need to be formatted as FAT32. Use Window's startup installer or independent tool to partition and format the OSX partition as FAT32 (initially before deletion under OSX install) in order for the boot process to work. If it still doesn't detect it under Disk Utility, you may need to update your laptop BIOS first to the latest version. Remember to find the correct download, and write down the current date and BIOS version number of your machine before the update just in case it doesn't work, as hard disk / new BIOS firmware recognitions can be an issue. Also the section called 'Alternative Suggestions' from here > http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Simple_Dual_Boot may help with the install.
