vuka Posted September 19, 2007 Share Posted September 19, 2007 Hello everybody, I've done quite a research on the Net and didn't find a working solution to my problem: I bought a new Buffalo WLI-CB-G54HP-4 PCMCIA/PC-Card because I read it worked in other Apple Powerbooks. It shows up in the menue but only say unknown vendor / unknown card / shut down card. I already tried the Orange Driver, installed the newest AppleAirport2.kext (v 4.0.5) and AppleAirport.kext (v 3.4.9) from May 2007 and Airport SW 4.2, tried the Terminal thing with IO80211Family.kext (didn't have one) and the IOPCCardFamiliy.kext - all of no avail. Is somebody of you capable to figure it out? Thanks a lot and best regards!
