TimeMachine Posted September 19, 2007 Share Posted September 19, 2007 I've tested my external hardrive at my friends house and it works. I have a Dell Dimension 8200. I've updated the BIOS. And on the BIOS screen I have USB controller and USB emulation ON. But when I plug it in to the USB slot and go to the boot menu, there is no boot from USB. There is only four things: 1. Normal 2. Diskette 3. C Drive 4. CD Do I need USB 2.0? It has to work somehow!
