xupal Posted September 18, 2007 Share Posted September 18, 2007 ok i am new to this but anyway i downloaded Mac OS X 10.4.8 [JaS AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1 & PPF2] and i burned it to a dvd but it doesnt boot up it says there are errors. like i get to the press enter to boot into it and then it says a bunch of text then it stops and says error then goes then said failed read/write disk like 10 times and goes back to error and read/write errors and then it just stops my computer specs are athlon amd 3500+ 1gb ram geforce 7600 sg motherboard is a asus A8N-SLI when i checked http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/HCL_10.4.8 i found all the parts to my computer and it said it works so... please help if u can p.s. i have a panasonic dvd burner and i burned it with imgburn at 8x thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

xupal Posted September 19, 2007 Author Share Posted September 19, 2007 ok and i just tried it in microsoft virtual pc 2007 jus tusing the iso not the dvd i burned and when it boots to the menu i press enter and it just restarts with an error so i let the time run out and it says "System config file '/com.apple.Boot.plist' not found" so does that mean my iso file is corrupt or it didnt download correctly?
