skyhighmac
Would I be able to share a hard drive a linux machine and then access and install apps (well support files) on to it? skyhighmac
I want to use a hd that is in a linux box and then use it on my mac as if it were an external hd. So I could install the support files for FCS2. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/63601-network-hard-drive/#findComment-450519 Share on other sites
U.C.
Just Use The "Connect To" option in Finder to connect to your Linux Box. It will then give you a option of Mounting your Network Share. Make sure you have SAMBA enabled on your Linux Box, and have your harddrives shared. Not Sure if you can use it to Install Support Files to, but I guess its worth a try Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/63601-network-hard-drive/#findComment-450603 Share on other sites
