CMYK John Posted September 17, 2007 Share Posted September 17, 2007 hEY GUYS, I WAS WONDERING IF ANY OF YOU MANAGED TO MAKE YOUR INTEGRATED WEB CAMS TO WORK ON OS X, IM ON A HP PAVILION DV 2225LA, ALMOST EVERYTHING ELSE WORK ACTUALLY QUITE GOOD, BUT NOT SO MUCH FOR THE WEB CAM, I KNOW IS NOT A BIG DEAL BUT I REALLY WANTED TO HAVE SOME STUPID FUN WITH PHOTO BOOTH AND STUFF XD. IF ANYONE COULD TELL ME HOW IT WOULD BE GREAT. THANXS. bluedragon1971 Posted September 17, 2007 Share Posted September 17, 2007 First, turn off that damned caps lock key. Second, specifically what version of OS X are you running? It helps to know basic info like this when figuring out problems. I have a dv6426us and my webcam is supported in version 10.4.9 and above, although it turns on with 10.4.8 but gives a blank picture. CMYK John Posted September 18, 2007 Author Share Posted September 18, 2007 Oh sorry about the caps lock key. and Im running the on osx 10.4.6, cause it seems like a viable option and it was, as I didn't have much troubles, on installation, and its working quite stable.
