Hi !

I've a problem when I try to install Mac Osx86.

During the installation, I have to chose where (on which partition) I want to install the OS (JaS 10.4.8 distribution) ... but, I don't see my partitions, the same for my HardDrive ...

It only recognize my CD Drive and the CD which is in.

Here are my partitions (on Vista) :

(there's a 8 Go Restoration Partition, a 131 Go System Partition and the 9 Go Partition in which I want to install Osx86).

What can I do in order to install Osx86 ?

Thank you a lot !

Of course :

Chipset : nVidia GeForce 7000M

Video : nVidia GeForce 6800 GS

Hard Disk : Seagate Momentus 160Go (5300 rpm), S-ATA

DVD Drive : Nec / Optiarc AD-5540A, IDE/ATAPI

If you need more informations, don't hesitate to ask for.

Saadk, apparently we don't have the same problem : my Hard Disk is never detected, and my install doesn't freeze :(

I have a similar problem. Following this guide everything runs smoothly until step #6. Installer boots up and everything is fine until i get to the "Select a Destination" step in the porcess and there is no destination for me to select.

Specs:

MSI K8T-NEO FIS2R (VIA K8T800 chipset) - i believe driver file for HDD is viaraid.sys

160GB SATA HDD

Gigabyte Radeon 9600XT (gv-r96x128d)

I'm guessing I need to somehow include the sata driver on the installation disk. Is there a thread or somewhere else that tells me how to do that?

Let me know if you need any information or if i should start my own topic. Appreciate any help!
