dogbert
one Ensonic Audio PCI AC97 {censored}. an AC97 chip is connected to the ICH of the south bridge and not to the PCI bus. therefore, it's just an ordinary PCI card. and an onboard SiS AC97, also i know this doesnt work that *should* work. you probably did something wrong, or the SiS southbridge isn't supported very well. AC97 sound is known to work with the standard kext. if you fail, buy a cheap USB sound adapter (available for ~10 $/€). there is a standard for audio USB devices, and the kernel extension for these devices is included so that they should work instantly. cmedia devices are reported to work.
