JamesUK
Hi, I've just tried installing Mac OS X 10.4.8 using VMWare onto my laptop (with an external hard disk drive). Once I had downloaded VMWare Workstation everything was working fine, and I managed to create a seperate partition on my external HDD (16GB out of 320GB) for OS X. When I came to boot up OSX from the Virtual Machine, the boot screen hangs at this screen: http://img460.imageshack.us/my.php?image=b...reenhangia0.jpg My laptop is the HP Pavilion DV2530ea, with the following specs: Microprocessor 1.80 GHz Intel® Centrino® Duo Mobile Technology Memory 2 x 1024 MB Video Graphics Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 Video Memory Up to 256 MB shared video memory Hard Drive 160 GB (5400 rpm) Multimedia Drive Lightscribe Super Multi DVD Writer (+/-R +/-RW) with Double Layer support Display 14.1” WXGA High Definition BrightView Widescreen Display (1280 x 800) Fax/Modem High speed 56K modem Network Card Ethernet 10/100BT integrated network interface Wireless Connectivity Intel® PRO/Wireless 3945 802.11a/b/g Integrated Wireless LAN Bluetooth® wireless networking Sorry if this topic has been duplicated elsewhere, please feel free to ask me any more questions.
