atomic Posted January 1, 2006 Share Posted January 1, 2006 Installed using a patched10.4.3 8F1111A DVD JaS 4.2b patch. Install went fine, but no keyboard or trackpad, relates to the PS2 Controller problem, but i have tried every ApplePS2Controller kext with no effect, i added the trackpad kext and the touchpad now works - still no keyboard. Anyone else here using an LG Laptop with 8F1111A, i did notice a post for a hacked ps/2 driver for 10.4.1, but of course that wont work in 10.4.3. thanks in advance. ender76 Posted January 31, 2006 Share Posted January 31, 2006 I'm using a LG LW20 and my trackpad worked fine but no keyboard. I used a standard USB keyboard plugged in and it works but still no laptop keyboard. Hope to get this working soon. I'm still having issues with the blue screen at startup too but looking at the other thread in relation to that. Anyone have a keyboard fix? CDog Posted March 28, 2006 Share Posted March 28, 2006 Just to add, having installed the patched 10.4.5 on my laptop that the keyboard doesn't work (so on boot after installation it stops to ask me to plug it in). This laptop has no PS/2 connector and I don't have a USB keyboard. Any thoughts would be appreciated, thank you.
