jrrjrr Posted December 31, 2005 Share Posted December 31, 2005 Does anyone have a way to install only some of the Epson Printer drivers from the Mac OSX install DVD, without having to install the whole 650MB bunch of them? I have an Epson 1270 and an Epson 1280 printer, and I don't see individual driver packages for them for OSX 10.4.x on Epson's site, but I do see them mentioned in file names when I examine the Epson package on the DVD with Pacifist. I need help in figuring what portions I need to grab to get a full working installation for my printers. Or maybe there is a way to edit a .plist file so the big package only installs some of the printers included??? I know about the gimp print drivers, but I would like to use the Epson drivers. without wasting all the disk space though.
