Hello all;

It seems that information around updates on 10.4.10 have gone quiet recently.

I originally had 10.4.10 installed with dsmos.kext but went back to 10.4.9 because I noticed that 10.4.10 was slower ( guessing because it was the patched kernel over the recompiled kernel).

What I had done from a 10.4.8 release: apply the 10.4.10 update, then replace kernel, and all before rebooting.

I'm looking into going back to 10.4.10; however, I don't want to go back to the slower kernel.

So, I got the latest 8.10.3 kernel, but I can't seem to find instructions on what needs to be installed. Do I just need the kernel and the system.kext? i.e. the dsmos.kext isn't needed anymore?

If someone knows where the installation instructions for 8.10.3, please let me know.

Thanks
