Gundam
yo yo! I'm makin my way into the scene here so please pardon my intrusion! I just finished installing OS X 10.4.9 on my Pentium 4 65nm Cedar Mill and when the install process finished and rebooted, I took out the disc and it successfully displayed the apple logo with the circulation clock, when it seemed to be finished my monitor turned off to standby and I can't wake it up. When I press certain keys I hear the volume so I believe it's at the setup menu. Any suggestions? Monitor is a 20in DELL 2007FP and my gpu is a ATi x1600XT (which I selected this driver during the install process) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/62661-after-install-1049-uphuck-it-boots-but-the-screen-turns-off/ Share on other sites

madzilla
I was having the same problem, I installed 3 drivers for my ATI card, don't know which one solved the problem. In addition to the 1600xt install one that says that it is to fix OpenGL problems, I don't remember the exact name, it was like 6th on the list I think, I think that one might have been what fixed it. Actually it says something about open GL specifically in the 1600 if I remember right. Good luck! BTW, I also installed the first one on the list.
