codermonkey
Hi all, I have already got osx86 running on a vm and wanted to get it going nativaly. I have a raid array on my system and so osx will not install as it does not recognise the array, so i wanted to install it on an external hdd through usb. I set up the hdd restarted and started to install osx, the disk utility on the install found the external drive and i installed it on it (used MBR and not GUID (is this right, i had to do this for the vm)). once installed i restarted and went into the bios and looked at the boot order and i had the following options USB-FDD USB-ZIP USB_CDROM tried them all (as first option) and wouldnt boot from the drive. anyone had this issue. I have a shuttle SD37P2 which is running award bios i believe. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
