Golan Trevize Posted September 7, 2007 Share Posted September 7, 2007 Hi, I just installed the uphuck 1.4i r2 version and have several problems post install : 1 - My system freezes randomly once osx is launched, I really don't know why. 2 - I have no airport installed (nothing on the right of the finder menu and nothing in the control panel). 3 - When I plug in any usb source, nothing happens. 4 - I have no sound, even after installing the azalia drivers. My configuration is : Toshiba Satellite U300-NS1 laptop computer Pentium Dual Core T2080 / 1.73 GHz Wireless Atheros 5007EG (vendor 168c) Realtek High Definition Audio Mobile Intel 945 GM\GU Express graphic chipset I also wanted to install osx on a USB HD but even if my bios is able to boot onto usb hd, it is not recognized by the installation program... If you could help me on those problem I would be very thanksfull !!!! All your suggestions were "buy a mac" some people can't dish out $1k for a mac and would rather have the option to still boot windows for a lot less of the cost. Why not give him some real support? Golan, I too use a 945gm chipset. I would suggest getting a copy of the kalyway 10.5.2 installer. I used it and it works fairly well for me. Just remember to click options and add intel video drivers in the install. Sorry I can't offer any support on uphuck.
