Hello Iam a AMD PC :P ,

 

ok now the real stuff i got Mac OSX Tiger v10.4.10 and i cant pay a apple pc because i cant game on it :angel:

so my question is will it un on my pc or even install on my pc here are my specs!

 

 

Motherboard Information:

ASUS Crosshair AM2

(nForce 590 SLi AMD Hammer Chipset, Phoenix - Award Bios V6.00PG) Bios Version 0702 "Last Version"

 

Processor Information:

AMD Athlon X2 4200+ AM2

(64-bit x86 Extension (AMD64, Intel64) AMD 3DNow! AMD 3DNow Professional, AMD Enhanced 3DNow!, AMD Extended MMX, IA MMX, IA SSE, IA SSE 2, IA SSE3

 

 

Video Cards Information:

XFX GeForce 7950GT 7950GX2 8800GTX "i got these cards in sli but not sure the 8800 is compatible"

(All Cards are from brand XFX)

 

Memory Infromation:

DIMM1: OCZ OCZ2N800SR1G 1 GB DDR2-800 DDR2 SDRAM (5-5-5-15 @ 400 MHz)

DIMM2: OCZ OCZ2N800SR1G 1 GB DDR2-800 DDR2 SDRAM (5-5-5-15 @ 400 MHz)

 

Harddisk Information:

2x Seagate Barracuda 500 GB 7200.10 (8,5ms / 16mb cache / 7200rpm DATA HDD's)

1x Hitachi Deskstar 160GB 7K160 (8,8ms / 8mb cache / 7200rpm, Vista HDD)

1x Western Digital Caviar RE 320 GB (8,9ms / 16mb Cache / 7200rpm, XP HDD)

 

 

SATA controller= from SiliconImage

 

i think this is enof information?

As far as i know TubGirl 10.4.10 support nForce SATA after installation but can't say for other SATA Controllers.

Even if it is supported you will need to install it using VMware in windows.

Everything elase seems to be okay....

im installing it atm lol disc erase takes a lot of time for 320gb : / prob is that normal cuz in windows it also takes ages.

 

ive checked my system in the instal menu of mac osx and coolest is videocards with 265mb+ memory works but

they wont use the rest i took my 8800gtx out puttefd my 7950GT 512mb in and shows only 256MB but doesnt matter it works i hope. :huh:

Oke ppl,

 

i installed 10.4.10 of tubgirl using a ide disc.

 

instalation done blablabla but i got problems now

 

i cant setup 1680x1060 resolution on 22" widescreen and my network inst workin.

 

onboard network = from ASUS Crosshair nForce 590 SLi chipset

and videocard XFX 7950GT 512MB / downed to 256MB but cant change resolutions.

 

 

any drivers of other options around ?

hmm thats bad probally will that be supported in next versions? because new intel motherboards also uses higher than nforce 4 chipset.

 

And Sapan i installed NV50 now its working now.

 

only problem is the internet Marvell ethernet contoller. what can i do to test the connection because we using a router.

 

and we as windows users normmally get a ip from the router does that work at osx to ?

hi,

i have the same motherboard :D

did u finds any drivers or osx version to get working onboard ethernet? ^_^

my specs:

MB: Asus Crisshair MCP55 (heard it works with leo)

CPU: AMD Athlon64 6000+ X2

GPU: nVidia 8600GT SLI

HDD: WD 500GB (ATA 133)

DVDRW:Asus SuperMulti (SATA)

[to install osx i use an old ATA DVD-RW]

according to the site below, mcp55 should work with leo
