herbalb Posted September 3, 2007 Share Posted September 3, 2007 I am using USB Soundblaster 24Bit and 5.1 works fine i.e. in VLC Player or other apps that support 5.1 sound. Apps from Apple like Quicktime or iTunes do not support 5.1 so only stereo there. I'm hoping that 10.5 rectifies this, as it is my single biggest irritation with OSX at the moment.
