Juniorsy Posted September 1, 2007 Share Posted September 1, 2007 i was finaly able to get osx installed on my dell machine by removing the hard drive and pluging it into my dad's amd emachine problem is once iv'e installed the os on the hd and brought it back to my dell computer it is all in grayscale very difficult to read but the os does load up properly my question is does anyone know how i can fix this display error. ive tried searching this forum for the past hour but cant seem to find anything that is working. any help would be greatfull hopefully it wont require me to purchase a new graphics card i believe atm it has the intel intergrated 845. sorry if this has been mensioned before. macfan45 Posted July 3, 2008 Share Posted July 3, 2008 I had a grayscale problem on a Dell Laptop. After hours of searching, I found the problem was in the bios with the Video Ram. Go into your dell's bios and look for somewhere where you can change the video ram. Bump it up as much as it can go.
