CLX
i'm running an osx pc with onboard intel gma950 graphics and uphuck v1.3. yesterday i tried to update my system using "10.4.10 Mac OS X delta update for hackintosh" because that was what i got after searching for the pascalw update. it seems that the update has overwritten some extensions and now the only resolution offered by the screen setup is 1024x768/60Hz. after the update other things like sound also stopped working but this could be fixed with reinstalling the driver packages. i have already searched the forum but did not find a matching solution for my problem, though some other people seem to have similar problems too. what i tried after the problem occured is: - replaced AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext with pre-update backup, permissions and owner are ok - reinstalled gma950 driver from the uphuck cd several times what can i do to change my resolution back to 1400x1050 / 85Hz? CLX
forgot to tell something: when i change the graphics mode on startup the system limits me to 1280x1024x32@60. kind of strange...
Fatherless One
The same thing happened to me (res limited me to 1024x768 and iTunes audio stopped) so I'm sticking with 10.4.9 for now. I tried two different 10.4.10 upgrades with same issues.
