divalut Posted September 1, 2007 Share Posted September 1, 2007 Hi, I have successfully installed os x 10.4.9 on a 20 gb IDE HD. but i can't install it on my SATA HD. when i boot os x from IDE HD, it regonize the SATA HD. if i only connect the sata hd it says "still waiting for root device", and with the IDE hd, i can start the installer but after 5 min. it fails. does someone know how to fix this? i use osx_1048_final from tubgirl with ppf1 (10.4.9) mb: asrock 939 dual_Sata2 hd: western 320 gb sata thank you!
