vopilif
Hi, I’ve done a fair bit of googling to find my solution to no avail. I don’t know if this belongs to the Post-Install section, or here, since technically the installation is complete.I’m using the uphuck 10.4.9 image (OSX86 1.4i r2) and just completed the installation on a Thinkpad X60s. I reboot after install and it starts the Mac Welcome Video. I can’t see or use the mouse and once the video completes it runs again, and again, apparently in an infinite loop. Hardware Config: - Disabled AHCI (compatability mode) - The rest of the BIOS is all default Install Config:- Main system. 1.4i - Patches: Verbose Mode- Drivers: Intel GMA 950 & Intel GMA 900 - Drivers: Apple.SMBIOSS.Kext netkas- Drivers: VIA SATA/ATA - Drivers: PowerManagement Bundle - Drivers: Intel SpeedStep - Drivers: IONetworkingFamily.kext Anybody got a clue as to what’s going on here? I’m going to try and re-install the only difference is that I will select only GMA 950 instead of both 950 & 900. Update: Ok, so don't install any kexts you don't need. I assumed it to be like linux, where adding in extra kernel modules don't hurt. Resolved.
