EDV11
I'm trying to install Mac OS X in my Samsung P30 notebook. Here are the full specs: CPU: Intel Pentium M 1,4 GHz 1024KB L2 Cache RAM: 2 * 256MB PC2100 DDR-SDRAM (DDR266) Chipset: Intel 855 PM (Centrino) Graphics: ATI Mobility Radeon 9200 (M9), AGP 4x, 32MB Optical drive: Teac DV-W22E, 2x DVD-R, 1x DVD-RW, 2x DVD-RAM, 8x DVD-ROM LAN: Realtek 8139 Wireless LAN: Intel PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3B (Centrino) Sound: Intel 82801DB AC97 audio controller PCMCIA: 1 slot Firewire: Ricoh R5C552 controller Modem: Intel 82801DB AC97 modem controller Ports: 2 * USB 2.0, IEEE1394 (Firewire), Serial, Parallel, PS/2, IrDA, Headphones, Microphone, VGA, S-VHS TV out, RJ-11 (Modem), RJ-45 (LAN) After inserting the JAS 10.4.8 AMD Intel SSE2 SSE3 DVD I start the installation. When it beggins, it gets stopped with this message: Waiting on <dict ID"0"><key>IOProviderClass</key><string ID="1"><IOResources</string><key>IOResourceMatch</key><string ID="2">boot-uuid-media</string></dict> Here's the image of the text when it stop http://img488.imageshack.us/img488/7578/dsc00064pk5.jpg I have tried a different release in the past and it also got stuck in the apple window (and I guess the error is similar). Do I have any future installing Mac OSX or should I stop trying and burning DVDs? skyt7
The DVD is waiting for your hard drive, i had the same problem on my Pentium 4, you have to search a driver for your hard drive 'cause the dvd doesn't get them...Search in the forum you'll probably find help in Hardware...
