MacFeast
I've been having random kernel panics with the following error message: panic(cpu 0 caller 0x0019BEB2) Unresolved kernel trap (CPU 0, Type 0=divide), registers: ( varies ) EDIT: EIP is 0x0019a2d6 I've seen other people on this forum that have this problem, and I've tried a lot of different kernels and patches and there seems to be no change... Does anyone know what's causing this? I have the following hardware: Dell Inspiron 8600 Pentium M 1.4 GHz / 400 MHz bus 512 MB DDR ATI Radeon Mobile 9600 Pro Intel Pro Wireless 2100 Edited December 27, 2005 by MacFeast Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/6167-paniccpu-0-caller-0x0019beb2/ Share on other sites
Technobob
What kernel are you running ? Have you tried Maxxuss latest kernel v4 it fixes random crashes. You will need to patch it with the RTC patch. http://win2osx.net/forum/showthread.php?t=2122&page=47 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/6167-paniccpu-0-caller-0x0019beb2/#findComment-38671 Share on other sites
MacFeast
Yes, I tried with v4 (as well as v3 and v2 variants). I tried with and without RTC patch. I could not observe any change in the frequency of the crashes. By the way, how did you get your TFT panel to display 1400x1050 ?
