bobby ellis Posted August 28, 2007 Share Posted August 28, 2007 i try to install uphuck 1.4a..dvd boots ok but when i open disk util it sees my sata hdd but when i try to erase or partition it in disk util it wont work and it locks up my pc and i have to reboot...any sugestions please i have a hp dv6105us more specs can be posted if needed....anyone help me please bobby Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

(utility>terminal) the command is like diskutil eraseVolume /dev/diskXsY change the X with your device number and Y with partition number... these command will erase/format the partition you want... e.g: diskutil eraseVolume /dev/disk0s2 will erase the second partition on first harddrive on your computer...
