MDMac Posted August 27, 2007 Share Posted August 27, 2007 I just sold my iMac and am in need of a laptop for college. I'm looking to spend between $800-850 total. The specs don't mean too much to me honestly because I won't need it for anything too demanding. I'll be using it for e-mail and C++ visual studio (under bootcamp or parallels). I looking for something that is in great physical/working condition. (warranty would be nice but not required ) Thanks! fpyyh Posted September 4, 2007 Share Posted September 4, 2007 are you the guy from engadget? some days you may find refurbished macbooks from apple store for as low as $799-$849 (white, core duo 1,8 sometimes, 1 year warranty). just try to check early in the morning, they disappear really fast.
