Artorius
I am aware that there is a fix for this. I have tried that fix, and it doesn't work. Clicking About This Mac makes everything relaunch (dock and menu disappear and reappear, Skype and other startup programs restart). And there's a slightly satisfying feeling about seeing that silver apple above the version of OS X. Artorius
I tried the one on "Mac OS X 10.4.8 [JaS AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1 & PPF2].iso". But somehow, instead of crashing, like the discription says will be avoided, I ended up basically killing all processes and re-logging in just by clicking "About This Mac". Artorius
Have you tried the Paulicat method? http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=32815 Yes, I've tried that method. Nothing changes; it still does the same thing. Is that the only fix for About This Mac?
