Question on Asus P5LD2 Mobo capabilities

Hi All,

 

I'm putting together my shopping list for building an OSx86 machine, and am wondering what mother board to buy. The P5LD2 looks good; in reading the forum here (very impressive amount of helpful info here, BTW), I've found threads where most people were saying it works 100%.

 

I just would like to confirm that this means the board can use both cores of a Core 2 Duo processor.

 

Also, for the video card, can the HIS HighTech H180GTO256DVN Radeon x1800GTO 256MB card support both Quartz Extreme and Core Image?
