Wolf12 Posted August 25, 2007 Share Posted August 25, 2007 Hi, I have an AM2 Athlon X2 3800+, together with Gigabyte MCP55-N570 Sli chipset, nvida 7900gt and 3 hard drives connected using the sata ports. I am using tubgirl 10.4.10 SSE3 AMD version. When I used previous versions the Sata controller could not be recognized. The problem I'm having at the moment is that when I try to erase a partition whic I created previously using acronis in FAT32 I cannot erase it is giving me an error. I tried this several times and it is always the same result. Does anyone have a solution for such an issue please? Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Wolf12 Posted August 26, 2007 Author Share Posted August 26, 2007 I don't think that is the case... because when I was using the Jas 10.4.8 it did not even recognize the cotroller. And as it says here the sata works Gigabyte Mobo I'll try as you sad to use an IDE hard drive although both IDE ports are used by DVD drives. If there is anyone else who can fix this problem please ?
