nmradar Posted August 25, 2007 Share Posted August 25, 2007 I'm on a Dell Dimension 4600 with A 3.0 GHz Pentium 4 with SSE2 and SSE3 1536 MB of Crucial RAM 80 GB Western Digital Hard drive NVIDIA geforce fx5200 SoundMAX digital audio inel pro/100 VE network card Monitor: Dell E173FP using the 10.4.8 JaS DVD with defiant diskutil biker880 ich7 patch The install itself goes well, but when os x loads (right after the grey screen with the silver apple) my monitor goes black, then becomes deep blue with a thick black stripe down the center.... I have searched for how to install the graphics card driver for this, but all I could find were ways to improve a graphics card that was already functioning decently (in order to get more resolutions).... I have also read about using the 10.4.6 DVD, but I would like to make sure it works before I take the time to acquire it. Can anybody help? Thanks in Advance! P.S.
