Boston17
Hi, I have an Asus P5LD2 TVM SE/S board and was wondering if this board is suitable for an OS X install. I believe it is an OEM board without RAID support and the second RED IDE port found on the retail boards. It has the i945G + ICH7 chipset with Intel GMA 950 video. The Lan chipset is , I believe Realtek RTL8110SC . The sound is, I think Realtek ALC888? Any help, I'm new as you've probably guessed!, is appreciated, particularly if you have this specific board, or suggestions as to which particular iso I should use + patches reqd. If this board is a dud for OS X install then by all means suggest an alternative. Hardware I can do Ok it's the software I need the real help with. Thanks ( sorry for the long post) Boston 17 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/61277-p5ld2-tvm-ses/ Share on other sites
antic
Ther are various versions of this board all of which you can install osx on. You can take your pick of which installation you use. I personally would go for jas 10.4.8 then upgrade to koolkal 10.4.10 but you can just as easily instal using Uphuck 10.4.9 See the following link for more information http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...c=41685&hl= Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/61277-p5ld2-tvm-ses/#findComment-434705 Share on other sites
