linux_user Posted August 22, 2007 Share Posted August 22, 2007 conf: - vmware workstation 6 - tried ide/scdi drives (8 gb) - amd turion 64 (supports sse, sse2, sse3) - tried setting os to other and windows nt - tried -v, mach_kernel -v platform=X86PC and mach_kernel -v platform=ACPI what happens: - boot - f8 - type -v - within 3 sec, goes up to ACPI: button driver prevents system sleep - about 30 sec later it goes to Still waiting for root device - about 10 sec later the rest pops up [screenie] plz help?
