vw_apple
Hi all, I messed up my installation. I was running 10.4.10, but i wanted to get rid of the no mounting problem.. I think i messed up the mach_kernel and now the installation won't boot anymore (also in single user mode). Is there a way to copy my backup files (like mach_kernel and other kexts) to the hfs partition? I have a dual boot with linux, but i cannot mount the partition with wright access. Is there maybe a way to do this with the installation disk, using the terminal for example? I couldn't find the information sofar so if one could help? Gr. vw_apple
Thanks. I think i did something wrong, because that didn't work in the first time.. But now it is ok. The only thing i still have is that during boot i get messages and problems regarding the loginwindow.app. I think i need an old copy of that. Where can i find it and download it. I did searched for it, but without success. I am running it on a intel if that matters..
