rockfreak999
Hi, I've installed JaS Mac OS X 10.4.7 x86 on my HP Pavilion dv4000. I have a Intel Centrino 1.7ghz processor. I choosed the INTEL.10.4.7.COMBO.UPDATE, the INTEL.SSE2 and the wireless networking support patch. After the installation completed, they asked me to reboot. I rebooted and the Gray screen appeared and after the blue screen. After this, nothing appeared and it looked like my computer was not working any more. Please write back and help me ! Thanks alot. Stone
Hi, I would suggest the following: Try a fresh install doing exactly this: 1. Install MAC Os X 10.4.6 JaS - Customized install: Intel combo update, Intel SSE; 2. After reboot, look into your BIOS and switch the IDE to AHCI; 3. You supposed to have a MAC OSX first boot - do the necessary required setup; 4. Within the MAC Desktop, install ONLY THE PATCH from MAC OSX 10.4.7 JaS; 5. Again, after reboot and login, install ONLY THE PATCH from MAC OSX 10.4.8 JaS with SSE3. NO KERNELS! Leave it to 8.4.1 for the moment. 6. Search further on Tutorial Genius Bar (for necessary drivers, if needed). Good luck.
