Tynderious Posted August 21, 2007 Share Posted August 21, 2007 hi, my first post on this forum so here goes first my laptop specs: acer aspire 1683WLMI intel centrino 1.7 (or mobile whatever u wana call it [sse2]) 1 gig ram (2x 512 sticks pc2700) ati 9700 mobile (64 meg) 80 gig hdd (osx only, no other os) more detailed info at linky if needed: http://www.ciao.co.uk/Acer_Aspire_1683WLMi...8#productdetail ok here goes, i got 2 different versions of osx 10.4.6 which installed but then wouldnt boot up after install, then i got hold of uphucks 10.4.9 1.4i R2 which also installed fine (i think i selected the right options in the instal menu) but after install the hd wouldnt boot osx up jsut got flashing cursor, used a partition manager and gparted live cd to ensure the boot flag was set and still not luck, help please, if i got to re-instal and someone could tell me which options i should install i would be greatful, thx in advance. EDIT........................................ ok i decided to re-install it again, can someone tell me which options i should select for my system, vga etc, thx.
