Galen Posted August 19, 2007 Share Posted August 19, 2007 I'm trying to build a quad core (Q6600-based) system. I have the CPU, 2 x 2 GB RAM and OS X tested video card. What are the best motherboards that work the most smoothly and have a reasonable price? What are you using? Several key questions: 1) Does the audio work? All 7.1 channels via analog? 2) Gigabit ethernet? (Not critical.) 3) Firewire? (Not critical.) 4) Support for >4 GB of RAM?
