dc297spec Posted August 19, 2007 Share Posted August 19, 2007 I have modified the AppleAHCIPort.kext to include the device id for my intel controller. the 2 WD SATA HDD's are recogonized under ich8 in system profiler but nothing shows up under disc burning and no other devices are listed under the ich8 tree. anyone have any clue on whats going on. I have tried multiple setting's in bios and nothing seems to work currently bios is set as follows: SATA native Mode = enabled SATA type = AHCI JMB controller is disabled.
