I'm using uphucks 10.4.9 v1.3 install dvd to install Mac OS X. After the boot it hangs at starting login window. I installed the patch for loginwindow from the DVD but that doesn't seem to help.

Specs:

AMD Athlon 64 Dual Core 3800+

2 GB Ram

Please help me.

I'm having the same problem.

My pc's specs:

e6600

DFI 975x/g

4g ram

sapphire ultimate 1950pro pci-e DVI enabled using Bronya's driver

My system hangs on the grey-ish blue screen with the mouse cursor but I can't move my mouse. I've just updated to pascal 10.4.10 so I can install iwork from UpHuck's 10.4.9 i1.4 r3. I can get into safe mode but that's it.

Have you tried JCCool's driver? Also, what happens if you boot in verbose mode?
