peterpan_bz
So I really got everything installed, didn't get any trouble so far, except that the SATA controller is not supproted, but with an IDE drive it just worked fine. BUT then, when I tried to start Mac OS X it always told me to restart. After two restarts I figured that there is something wrong and then used the "-v" function to see where it stopped and saw that it stops right here: localhost mDNSResponder: Adding browse domain local I'm really new into this and have no idea what to change or what to do to solve this. Before I forget, there is still Windows XP installed on a partition, but I get a selection screen to choose which one to use... And then I just read that it might be because of additional hardware. So is it possible that my PCI TV-adapter (Philips something) creates a conflict with Mac OS and lets it crash?.... I might be completely wrong, but I'm really hoping someone knows something.... Ok, last question. My motherboard is not listed, but the USB worked right away, sound and network I don't know so far. But the SATA controller didn't work. I read some posts about this and everywhere was written that I need to update a file or to patch to get it running. Does someone of you have a "beginner" tutorial about how to patch?! That'd be really really awesome. e-Mail or add a comment here.... Thanks a lot.
