Mebster
I need to download updates for my PPC mac. Occasionally I go to the apple site and download the dmg, save it and take it to my mac (this is when my mac has no internet connection) as now. But I don't know what the difference between these are: Mac OS X 10.4.10 Update (PPC) 25MB Mac OS X 10.4.10 Combo Update (PPC) 165MB Clearly these are different because of their sizes. So can someone please explain. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/60545-combo-and-non-combo-updates/ Share on other sites
Trentus
The combo updates contain the updates from previous patches. So, you could go straight from 10.4.6 to 10.4.10, without downloading and installing every incremental update. With the regular update, you could only go from 10.4.9 to 10.4.10 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/60545-combo-and-non-combo-updates/#findComment-430525 Share on other sites
