However, when plugging it in, I constatly get loud distortion that is waaay too annoying. The sound may work, but with the constant clicking, it's not worth it. Has anyone else seen this problem? Maybe there's a workaround? Thanks in advance! Edit: The cracking is only with the headphones. The speakers sound fine. riws Posted August 18, 2007 Share Posted August 18, 2007 not oc'd.not sure if its a clock problem. Kernal is the jas 10.4.8. Don't know if it is capable. Do an Update to 10.4.9 with newer Kernel. I have the same USB Card, its ticking sometimes when kernel is and its not calculating the usb clock right. It's really driving me insane to the point that I don't want to keep using this. So basically the card was a waste of $50.00. Not to mention that I can't go over 1024 768.
