alex74447
Hey guys. So on the installation guides, I read that this one works without problems, so I went out and bought it. However, when plugging it in, I constatly get loud distortion that is waaay too annoying. The sound may work, but with the constant clicking, it's not worth it. Has anyone else seen this problem? Maybe there's a workaround? Thanks in advance! Edit: The cracking is only with the headphones. The speakers sound fine.

alex74447
USB clock problem?CPU oc'd? Kernel is autofsb capable? not oc'd. not sure if its a clock problem. Kernal is the jas 10.4.8. Don't know if it is capable.
riws
not oc'd.not sure if its a clock problem. Kernal is the jas 10.4.8. Don't know if it is capable. Do an Update to 10.4.9 with newer Kernel. I have the same USB Card, its ticking sometimes when kernel is and its not calculating the usb clock right.
alex74447
I upgraded to 10.4.9 and I still get the constant clicking. It's really driving me insane to the point that I don't want to keep using this. So basically the card was a waste of $50.00. Not to mention that I can't go over 1024 768. riws
Not 10.4.9, Kernel has to be Darwin 8.9 Try other USB holes
alex74447
the darwin is 8.9. Another usb port didn't help. On a brighter note, I got my resolution up, so that's one step closer.
